ATTENTION:

After the decree of the district administration of Kitzbühel about the declaration of River
Kössener Ache as a spawning sanctuary was confirmed by the ecological expert, the area from the Hüttwirtsbrücke (bridge near the rafting center) downstream to the level of the orographic right access road to the former building yard of the municipality of Kössen is now considered a spawning sanctuary. Thus - independent of the navigation police regulation - between September 15th and May 31st of each year it is forbidden to navigate the spawning sanctuary with water vehicles of any kind.

You will be informed about any changes in due course on the homepage of the municipality of Kössen & on the part of the TVB.
