Curling in the Kaiserwinkl
Ice stock sport, curling or Bavarian curling is a sport that is especially widespread in the Alpine region. Ice stock sport is an old folk sport and historically belongs to the customs, which spread only in areas with freezing waters and was played only in winter.
In its modern form as a recreational or competitive sport, governed by rules and clubs, it is played all year round and a distinction is made between team, distance and target competition. Curling is a precision sport.
