Being mobile even without a car
Public transport
Free Regiobus & Ski bus
Leave your car at the door - or at home. In Kaiserwinkl you can experience a lot, even without your own car. The towns of Kössen, Walchsee and Schwendt as well as Reit im Winkl are connected by VVT buses. Your host will provide you with the Kaiserwinkl Card, which is included in your stay. With it you can travel free of charge all year round by bus within the Kaiserwinkl to Reit im Winkl, Kufstein and back. For an additional charge you can continue your journey to St. Johann in Tirol.
In winter, the Regiobus ski bus takes you directly to both ski resorts Hochkössen, Mount Zahmer Kaiser & Amberglift. Tip: With ski rental and ski depot possibilities directly at the valley station of the Hochkössen cable cars, there is no need to carry your equipment to the bus stop. You can also reach the cross-country skiing trails, such as the snow-covered trail in Walchsee or the high-altitude trails in Reit im Winkl, by bus and a few minutes' walk.
